This is a black tea from the upper slopes of the Hoàng Su Phì area of Hà Giang. The trees used to make this tea are growing at an elevation of 2000m+ and have a long thin shape and dark green color.

The tea trees used to make this tea are a non-Sinensis, Camellia varietal. Research on exactly which varietal they are is still pending!

The fragrance of this tea immediately fills the air.

The flavor is strong and complex. I'd say its a mix of malt, dark chocolate and a deep sweet-sour fruit finish. I like brewing it at 85-95 degrees for shorter and then longer steeps.

Great happy relaxing qi and rich huigan.
